Fayetteville State University Energy Savings Performance Contract Request for Proposals

Proposals for Fayetteville State University’s Energy Savings Performance Contract must be received by the office of Facilities Management - Planning & Construction, Fayetteville State University, 1200 Murchison Road, Fayetteville NC 28301 by 3:00 PM Thursday August 2, 2012 and will immediately thereafter be publicly opened and read in the Lyons Science Annex, Room 121 at Fayetteville State University – 1200 Murchison Road, Fayetteville, NC 28301.

 Only proposals from pre-qualified Energy Service Companies (ESCO’s) will be considered.  Mailed proposals must be sent to: Jon Parsons, Energy Manager, Facilities Management-Planning & Construction Department, Fayetteville State University, 1200 Murchison Road, Newbold Station, Fayetteville, North Carolina 28301-4298, or hand delivered to same at the Fayetteville State University Facilities Office.

 A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held for all interested parties on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 10:30 AM in the Lyons Science Annex, Room 121 at Fayetteville State University – 1200 Murchison Road, Fayetteville, NC 28301.

Fayetteville State University Murchison Road Sidewalk Project 

Sealed proposals for the Murchison Road Sidewalk project will be received by the office of Facilities Management - Planning & Construction, Fayetteville State University, 1200 Murchison Road, Fayetteville NC 28301 up to 3:00 pm Thursday May 24, 2012 and immediately thereafter be publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment entering into the construction of Sidewalk, Driveways and Wheel chair ramps from Council Street to Lakeland Street along Murchison Road.

 

Mailed proposals can be sent to: Harold Miller, Project Manager, Facilities Management-Planning & Construction Department, Fayetteville State University, 1200 Murchison Road, Newbold Station, Fayetteville, North Carolina 28301-4298, or hand delivered to same at the Fayetteville State University Facilities Office.

 

The project consist of the removal and replacement of signs, concrete sidewalks, concrete driveways, including the installation of wheel chair ramps; removal and disposal of existing concrete, block walls and shrubs; removal and reinstallation of chain link fence, and telephone box adjustment on Murchison Road in Cumberland County.  All work and materials shall be in accordance with the provisions of the General Guidelines of this contract, the Project Special Provisions, and the current editions of the North Carolina Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures, the North Carolina Department of Transportation Roadway Standards Drawings, and the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).

Bids will be received for a Single Prime Bid. All proposals shall be Lump Sum.

 

A Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders on Thursday, May 10, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the Facilities Management Building, at Fayetteville State University – 1200 Murchison Road, Fayetteville, NC  28301. The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures and bid forms. Parking will be reserved for all in attendance.

Complete plans, specifications and contract documents will be open for inspection in the offices of Fayetteville State University Facility Management Building, Cumberland Regional Improvement Corporation at 1207 Suite C, Murchison Road, Fayetteville,NC 28302 and in the plan rooms of the Associated General Contractors, Carolinas Branch, Raleigh, and The NC Institute of Minority Economic Development- Plan Room 2520 Murchison Road, Fayetteville,NC 28302.   .
