Parking

Faculty, Staff, and Students may pre-register their vehicles online. For more information on registering your vehicle, click "Online Vehicle Registration," which is listed below in the Resources section.

Permits should be available for pickup 24 hours from date of registration.

In order to complete the online process you will need the following information and items available before logging on:

1. FSU Network Account Username and Password (If you are having issues logging in with your FSU Network Account User Name and Password, please report to the Lyons Science Annex, Room 125 for assistance before coming to the police department). If you live off campus, please call the help desk at 672-HELP  or 672-4357 for assistance with login issues.
2. Your Current DMV Vehicle Registration Card
3. Your Current Liability Policy Insurance Card (Students)

Cost

The cost of a permit is as follows:
Reserved	$250.00 (already assigned)
Gated	$175.00 (Lots B, and O)
Employees	$60.00 (Regular)
Student (academic year)	$60.00
Student (summer) per session	$25.00

Payment for permits is collected at the University Cashier’s office and permit can be picked up at the University Police Office.

Preferred Parking for LEV/FEVs - New!

To park in one of the preferred spaces, a LEV/FEV decal is required. To see if a vehicle qualifies, commuters and employees can visit http://www.uncfsu.edu/facilities-management/sustainability and click the link - Preferred Parking for LEVs.

There is no additional fee for the LEV decal, however, you must purchase or have already purchased a FSU parking permit. You must bring proof of vehicle registration, type of transmission (automatic or manual) and size of engine for your vehicle to verify qualification and receive your LEV decal. Parking in one of the reserved spaces without the decal will result in a ticket.
