Counseling track curriculum
Time Line
The Master's program may be completed within three academic years (six semesters); however, students with job and/or family responsibilities may elect to complete the program at a slower personalized pace. Courses are offered in the late afternoon, starting at 5:15 p.m. For most students, 6 units per semester will be considered a minimal number. It should be stressed that individual patterns should be planned very carefully, since many courses will not be offered every semester. A sample three and a half-year plan is available for review. All students are required to take a counseling internship at the end of their program that is difficult to complete on a part-time basis.
