Experimental Psychology track curriculum (2006-2008)

The Experimental Psychology track is a full-time day program.  Students are expected to complete the program in two years.  In the first semester, students should identify a faculty member with whom they wish to work with.  In the second semester, students should develop and submit a research protocol that has been approved by their committee and the Institutional Review Board (IRB).  In the last year, students should be completing their thesis research and submitting their thesis for final approval.

  • PSYC 575 Biological Aspects of Behavior
  • PSYC 640 Social Aspects of Behavior
  • PSYC 652 Principles and Techniques of Teaching Psychology
  • PSYC 693 Thesis Research
  • Electives Choose two graduate courses with advisement

A Master’s Thesis is required for the Experimental Psychology track and an Oral Defense of the Thesis.
