How do I withdraw from a class?
You will receive no refund of tuition and fees for withdrawing from
individual classes. Since you are paying for the course, you should strive to
earn credit for it. If you are withdrawing from all the courses in which
you are enrolled – even if you are enrolled in only one course--, you must
withdraw from the university. Click on the University Withdrawal link below.
- When you withdraw from a class, you fail to earn credit for the
class. If you earn fewer than 67% of your attempted hours, you will lose your
financial aid. Example: If you have 30 attempted hours for the academic year
and withdraw from 12 hours – in other words, you earn 18 of 30 credits -- you
will lose financial aid eligibility for the following year since 18 of 30 is
60%.

I have been dropped for nonpayment
The Business Office has dropped you from class because you have not made payment
of classes as requested. How do I get back in class? Now you must proceed
as follows:
- Contact the Business Office to discuss your options
- It is the student responsibility to re-enroll in classes.
-
I have been dropped as a No Show
The Registrar's Office, with the assistance of the Business Office, will
drop all students designated as a No Show in at least 75% of their
enrolled classes by the end of the first week of class (Fall or Spring) and at
least 50% (Summer). Faculty designate
you as a "no show" by entering an "X" grade as your midterm grade during this
period.
How do I get back in class?
You must realize by now that you have
been dropped from all classes and if you received financial aid, your aid has
been reversed and removed from your account. You must contact the Financial Aid
Office to determine if your aid can be restored. You must contact each
instructor to request reentrance into the class, they have the right to deny
reentrance.
If the instructor allows reentrance, s/he must email the
Registrar agreeing to allow the student reentrance.
The email must include your
name, banner id and the CRN number of the class. Once email confirmation is
received, then you will be reenrolled in the class.
Please keep in mind that all
faculty may not allow you reentrance. I
f you receive financial aid, you must
know how this will affect you. You will not be allowed entrance into any other
classes as substitutes.
