APPLICATION DEADLINES                  

May 2008 Graduation              Deadline: September 2007
December 2008 Graduation    Deadline: June, 2008

It is in the best interest of the student to adhere to these deadlines to ensure your audit is completed and mailed to you in a timely manner.  These deadlines apply to doctorial, graduate and undergraduate applicants.

                   Former chief Justice of the NC Supreme Court
 

 

Diplomas will be distributed after the ceremony within the Crown Coliseum.


Diplomas not picked up after the ceremony will be mailed to
   the permanent address you have listed in Banner.  We will
   start to mail diplomas within 2 weeks after graduation.

 

   Please check your banner address to ensure it is
   correct.

Academic Regalia Cost
Includes cap, gown, tassel and hood.  Please call the University Bookstore at (910) 672-1322.

        Doctoral Regalia - $226.00
        Graduate Regalia - $55.00
        Undergraduate Regalia - $49.50

Steps for Graduation Clearance Process
1. Confer with your advisor. Go over the
    curriculum guide you received when you
    declared your major.

2.
Apply for graduation
        Undergraduate Application
        Graduate Application

3. Pay your graduation fee
     Doctoral  - $50.00
     Graduate - $50.00
     Undergraduate - $50.00

 

Your Responsibilities
- Clear up all HOLDS
- Ensure all course waivers,
  substitutions, transfer courses,
  "I" grades and repeat forms are
  processed
- Your GPA meets your major
  requirements
- You've earned at least 120 hours
  and all requirements are met for your
   curriculum
- Order academic regalia and
  invitations
- Your name and permanent
   address are correct in the
  student information system
- Take the final exams and receive
  grades - NO "Fs"
- Ensure your billing account
  balance is ZERO
 - Attend the exit interview if you
  received financial aid loan
  monies
