Oversee, manage and/or coordinate all aspects of office operations at FSU-Research Office. Respond and handle professionalism and tact inquiries and request made to the RO via telephone, email, or visits; respond to inquiries or seek answers to inquiries on behalf of the AVCR, set priorities for completion of tasks and meeting deadlines. Handle office and business operations serving as the overall office administrator overseeing day to day operations such as purchase requisitions, purchase orders, petty cash purchases, debit cards, invoice tracking and payment, travel arrangements and reimbursements, and office supply inventory and orders. Maintain FSU-RO calendar to coordinate work flow, schedule appointments for the AVCR, arrange and coordinate meetings and workshops including identifying facilities; arranging the set up and/or refreshments; notifying the attendees, and preparing information packages and meeting materials on behalf of the AVCR; assist with special events, such as award recognition and bi-annual meetings, potential fundraising/funding activities; interact with the faculty and staff when needed for the FSU Research Council and the External Advisory Board (EA). Prepare and write various business communiques and notices, prepare meeting agenda and compile meeting minutes. Sort and distribute mail. Supervise volunteers and other support personnel.
