Important

All Proposals, Internal Processing forms and Release Time Request forms are due in our office 10 days prior to the due date to allow time for approval and signatures from the Provost and the Office of Business and Finance prior to submission.  Please call or email our office if you have any questions when completing the forms or the proposal application.

  • F&A (Facilities and Administrative) - Indirect Cost Rate Letter [PDF] - 55.4% Rate Agreement with DHHS dated March 21, 2012
Budgetary Rates

Budgets are completed by the Director of Sponsored Research along with the PI (ext. 1644)

  • FSU Indirect Cost Rate [PDF] - 55.4% of total salaries and wages (DHHS - Agreement Date:March 21, 2012)- Rate may have to be adjusted to Sponsors requirements
  • Social Security Rate for Research Assistants, Undergraduate Assistants (Full and Part time) - 7.65%
  • Fringe Benefit Rate (Soc. Sec., Retirement, Benefits Pool & Health Insurance-) - 25.5%
  • Fringe Benefit Rate  of 25.5% remains the same for Summer Months also
  • Retention Rate - 3 years
  • Salary Ranges - Office of State Personnel
