Fall 2013 Housing Application Process Steps
The following steps must be completed in order to receive a housing assignment:
- Pay your $125 Housing Application Fee (NON-REFUNDABLE) at the FSU Cashier's Office (Located on the 2nd Floor in the Lilly Building; (910) 672-1155) Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm; must be paid by Thursday, August 1, 2013.
- Complete & submit the Housing Application Packet w/receipt of your $125 application fee payment to the Department of Residence Life (located in WIlliams Hall) by Thursday, August 1, 2013.
- Successfully clear the following screenings: Financial (Student Account Balance must be BELOW $500 & you must not have any PENDING fines from Residence Life: Fines will DELAY your clearance), Judicial (No Current nor Pending judicial sanctions from the university), & Registration (All students must be registered for classes for Fall 2013).
**All UPA applicants must COMPLETE & PASS AlcoholEdu in order to be ELIGIBLE for a housing assignment at University Place Apartments; it will be re-opened on August 1, 2013 for upperclassmen & transfer students only. Completing & passing both portions of AlcoholEdu will make you ELIGIBLE for a housing assignment at UPA. Fall 2013 Check-In
- Upperclassmen may check into their ASSIGNED residence hall from Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 12pm-Monday, August 19, 2013 at 12pm.
***Please note that failure to check into your assigned residence hall by Monday, August 19, 2013 at 12:00pm will result in forfeiting your space; you will then need to come to Williams Hall for a new building/room assignment (stated on the Housing Acknowledgement & Disclaimer you signed with your Housing Application Packet)***
