Fall 2013 Housing Application Process Steps

The following steps must be completed in order to receive a housing assignment:

  • Pay your $125 Housing Application Fee (NON-REFUNDABLE) at the FSU Cashier's Office (Located on the 2nd Floor in the Lilly Building; (910) 672-1155) Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm; must be paid by Friday. March 29, 2013
  • Complete & submit the Housing Application Packet w/receipt of your $125 application fee payment to the Department of Residence Life (located in WIlliams Hall)
  • Successfully clear the following screenings: Financial (Student Account Balance must be BELOW $500 & you must not have any PENDING fines from Residence Life: Fines will DELAY your clearance), Judicial (No Current nor Pending judicial sanctions from the university), & Registration (All students must register for AT LEAST one (1) class for Fall 2013); please refer to the Office of the Registrar website to see when your registration date is.

**ALL UPA APPLICANTS MUST COMPLETE & PASS FSU'S MANDATORY ACOHOL EDUCATION PROGRAM IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A HOUSING ASSIGNMENT AT UNIVERSITY PLACE APARTMENTS.  PART 1 IS NOW AVALABLE; YOU MUST COMPLETE & PASS PART 1 BY FRIDAY, APRIL 5, 2013.  THERE WILL BE A 30-DAY WAITING PERIOD BEFORE YOU CAN TAKE PART 2; PART 2 MUST BE COMPLETED BY MAY 10, 2013.  COMPLETING AND PASSING PART 2 WILL MAKE YOU ELIGIBLE FOR A HOUSING ASSIGNMENT AT UPA.**
