Hackley Honors Hall was established in 1998 and named after one of Fayetteville State University's previous Chancellors, Dr. Lloyd 'Vic' Hackley. Hackley Honors Hall is located in the middle of our illustrious campus and is a suit style co-ed residence hall that is home to the International Education and Global Scholars Community.
This residence hall has two floors and two wings to connected by an outside breezeway where students will find a homey common lobby and a laundry room on the second floor, and administrative offices and a mini fitness room on the first floor.
Hackley Hall can accomodates up to 96 students per year, with suites consisting of four double occupancy rooms that share a common bathroom and living room. Students in Hackley Honors Hall enjoy air conditioning and heating units that they can control in their individual rooms. They also enjoy a balcony that oversees a large courtyard with a seating are that overlooks the small gazebo located in the middle of our campus. Due to Hackley Honors Hall prime location in the middle of campus, residents also have short walking distances to several buildings like the student center, the capel arena, and academic and administrative offices located east side of campus.
