Masters of Business Administration (MBA)

The Master of Business Administration program at FSU is designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to become an effective manager in a variety of organizational settings. The broad goal of the program is to provide students with the foundations in content and competencies that will support their development as effective managers. Specifically, the program is intended to provide a learning environment for the students to enhance their ability to:

  • Integrate concepts and theories from all functional areas of business Implement policy and strategy within the context of the organization and its external environment
  • Communicate effectively with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Work effectively and ethically in a diverse environment, in leadership as well as other capacities
  • Understand the dynamics of organization within the context of a global economy
  • Use technology as a tool to enhance organizational efficiency
  • Develop analytical and problem solving skills and be able to effectively manage change
