Biography Dr. Druann Heckert received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Frostburg State University, with majors in Sociology and Political Science and minors in Spanish and History. She subsequently attained her Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Delaware and her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of New Hampshire. She previously taught at institutions such as Ithaca College (New York) and the University of Connecticut (Storrs).
