Biography Pamela Collins, Lecturer with Sociology department got her undergraduate degree at Fayetteville State University in Sociology and subsequently received her Master’s degree in Sociology as well from Fayetteville State. She is currently pursuing her PhD in this field of study. Her research interest includes medical sociology: health care disparities among women and minorities and areas of gerontology and is currently working on research: “Sociological Analysis of Palliative Care.” Before pursuing a career in teaching, she was employed in various positions in the health care industry, assisting clients in the medical and mental health community for approximately 14 years. |
