BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Akbar Aghajanian is a Professor of Sociology-Demography. He received his MA and Ph.D. from Duke University in Durham, NC and completed postdoctoral research at the International Population Center at Cornell University. He has taught and conducted research at the University of Washington in Seattle before he joined Fayetteville State University in 1990. He has severed as consultant to the United Nations Fund for Population Activity. He has research and training grants from Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Education, and National Science Foundation. |
