Biography Sharmila Udyavar got her undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Bombay, India. She subsequently got her Master's in Sociology at Fayetteville State University. Her research interests include understanding the impact of society and cultures on health and health disparities. She also coordinates activities at the Research Center for Health Disparities which include collecting health data in different North Carolina counties, mentoring graduate students and research assistants to conduct research using this data, and presenting the results of this research. |
