We recommend that you always change your password on the Self-Service Password Management site (you must first create a password profile by going to "Edit my profile") or in Citrix. The Self-Service Password Management site will allow you to change and reset your password and unlock you account on your own. This will automatically update your e-mail account password. If you change your password on the Windows Live site, it will NOT update your FSU network password that you use to log in to Blackboard, iNside FSU and the campus network.
Microsoft recently upgraded services for students and alumni to Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) with 25 GB of additional file storage. The upgrade is more than just email-it includes access to other services that enhance your ability to collaborate and communicate, including calendars, document sharing, instant messaging, video chat, mobile email, and more.
When you logon to the new system for the first time you will be required to go through an initial setup to configure and personalize your Microsoft account.
