Steps to Viewing the Course Schedules:

  • Go to www.uncfsu.edu and choose Banner - Registration in drop down box.
  • Click on Class schedule, choose a summer term and submit.
  • Click on subject of interest and class search.  All of the classes that are offered for that term will be listed.

This schedule also applies to distance education classes (course sections CE), Ft. Bragg courses (course sections 50) and Seymour Johnson AFB courses (course sections 80).  Online courses (sections D1, D2) are offered on an eight-week or ten-week schedule as designated by the instructor. Online courses begin with Summer Session I.

Please note: For the purposes of financial aid, the second summer session is considered the first term of the 2009-2010 academic year.

Notes:

  1. Three hour classes require 2,250 minutes of instruction:
    1. Five-week term classes have 23 class meetings (100 minutes for a total of 2,300 minutes.
    2. Eight-week classes have 15 class meetings (150 minutes each) = 2,250 minutes.
    3. Full Summer Term classes have various meeting times, but ensure at least 2,250 minutes of instruction for a three-credit course.
  2. Deadlines:
    1. Withdrawing from classes: 15th day of five week term; 24th day of 8-week term.
    2. WN Submissions:  17th day of five week term; 28th day of Eight week and ten week terms.
    3. WN Appeals: 19th day of five week term; 32nd day of Eight week and ten week terms.
    4. To avoid confusion, the deadlines for withdrawing from classes, withdrawing from the university, and WN submissions are the same as the pre-fall term.
  3. Online Classes (D1, D2, D3):
    1. Students must officially register in Banner.
    2. Online courses are offered on Blackboard.
    3. Students must access Blackboard the first day of class by going to http://blackboard.uncfsu.edu.
    4. It is the students’ responsibility to withdraw from a course by going to www.uncfsu.edu/registrar/ and click on forms.
    5. Students need a computer & internet connection.
    6. Additional resources at CE/DE site/Student Support site: www.uncfsu/conted and click on Student Support.
    7. It is the student’s responsibility to clear their bill with the office of Business & Finance.
