| Biography Ms. Posada, Field Coordinator, received her MSW from the University of Houston and a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s University of San Antonio. She served in the Individual Ready Reserve as an Army Medical Social Work Officer for 7 years with a call to active duty in support of Desert Storm. Ms. Posada’s experience spans the continuum of practice with individuals, families, groups, communities, and organizations. Experiences in fields of practice include mental health, public health, hospital, advocacy, community development, supervision, organizations, and administration. Her other social work academic affiliations have been with University of Houston, Our Lady of the Lake University, Texas State University, and University of Texas at San Antonio with just under 20 years of experience with field education. She has had numerous leadership positions within the social work community at the state and national levels. Currently, she is the Chair of the Field Council for Council on Social Work Education. |
