Mission
The mission of the Military Behavioral Health Graduate Certificate Program is to provide mental and behavioral health professionals knowledge and skills that enhance their abilities to provide quality care for active duty military service members, veterans, citizen soldiers and their families as well as enhance their marketability in finding employment with organizations that target military populations. The graduate certificate program brings together courses in areas of military culture, programs and services as well as courses addressing post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse, traumatic brain injuries and suicide assessment and treatment. Persons who do not desire the certificate may take courses as individual electives.
