2009:Publication: Gilbert, D.J., Harvey, A.R., Belgrave, F.Z. (2009). Advancing the Africentric paradigm shift discourse: Building toward evidence-based Africentric interventions in social work practice with African Americans. Social Work, 54 (3) 243-252. Dr. Harvey is also affliliated with two national boards, two national committees, a state board, and a local board. Congratulations to Dr. Oliver J. Johnson for his latest collaboration J. Whitfield and B. Grohe entitled "Improving Social Work Student's Information Literacy Skills: A Faculty Librarian Collaboration" also his collaboration with S. Bowie and J Hall entitled "Intergrating Diversity into Graduate Social Work Education: A 30 Year Retrospective View by MSW Level African American Social Workers."

Congratulations to Dr. Sharon E. Williams for her appointment to the City of Fayetteville-Cumberland County, Commission on Human Relations. The Commission on Human Relations studies problems of discrimination in any or all fields of human relationships and encourages fair treatment and mutual understanding among all racial, ethnic, sex and age groups. The commission promotes programs and seeks solutions to these problems.
