BiographyAllie D. Wiggins, LCSW, ACSW holds a B.A. degree in Sociology, with a minor in Psychology from Fayetteville State University and a Master in Social work degree, with a concentration in Medical Social Work from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Academy of Certified Social Workers, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of North Carolina. Ms. Wiggins has more than five years of teaching experience at the university level and approximately 28 years of practice and leadership experience. She is a Certified Clinical Social Worker Supervisor. Ms. Wiggins has served as part-time instructor at Methodist College, Fayetteville State University and East Carolina University. Following her retirement in April 2004, through the North Carolina Retirement System, she was accepted as a part-time lecturer in the Master of Social Work Program, Fayetteville State University. Ms Wiggins experience in leadership and administration includes, Director of a Children’s Treatment Center-Cumberland House, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Case Manage Supervisor, Cumberland County Mental Health, Director of Intensive Youth Services (Willie M Program) Cumberland County Mental Health and Clinical System Manager Child and Family Services, Cumberland County Mental Health. Ms Wiggins under graduate experience was in Child Protective Services with the Department of Social Services, Fayetteville, NC. Other Post-Masters experiences include, Field Instructor/Supervisor for Methodist College Fayetteville State University, Pembroke University, East Carolina University and University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and Consultation and Clinical Supervision in the Private Sector with Provisional-Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Residential Treatment Centers. |
