Ms. Densie Lucas, MSW, LCSW is a lecturer in the Department of Social Work in the College of Arts and Sciences at Fayetteville State University. She is the Director of Field Education for the MSW Program. She received her undergraduate degree in Sociology with a concentration in Social Welfare from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and the Master of Social Work degree from the University Of Maryland School Of Social Work in Baltimore Maryland.  
Ms Lucas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over thirty years of post Master’s Degree experience in the Mental Health arena in the State of North Carolina. Her experience includes working at Dorothea Dix Hospital, Wake County Mental Health, Sandhills Mental Health and Cumberland County Mental Health in clinical, management and administrative positions. She has supervised field practicum students over the course of her years of experience both on an outpatient and inpatient basis.
