Congratulations to Dr. Aminifu R. Harvey for the following accomplishments during January- August 2009:Publication: Gilbert, D.J., Harvey, A.R., Belgrave, F.Z. Congratulations to Dr. Oliver J. Johnson for receiving a grant from Morehouse College of Medicine to address issues entitled: "Reducing The Incidence of Suicide Among Young African American Men: Implications for HBCU Service Personnel." 

Congratulations to Ms. Debra L. Brown for receiving $220,000.00 for the North Carolina Child Welfare Education Collaborative contract. 

Congratulations to Dr. Annie McCullough-Chavis for co-writing a book chapter, entitled "Genograms: Capturing Family History and Cultural Context with African American Families". The book is entitled, "Social Work Practice with African American Families: An Intergenerational Perspective," which is edited by Dr. Cheryl Waites of Wayne State University.

Congratulations to Dr. Delma Jackson . Her article entitled, An Examination of Social Risk Factors for Wife Abuse in the Dominican Republic was recently published in Family Therapy, Vol. 35(1).
