BiographyAnnie McCullough Chavis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work at Fayetteville State University. She received her undergraduate degree in Sociology and Social Studies with honors (Cum Laude) from Fayetteville State University (1970) and the master of social work degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Social Work (1987). She was honored as the recipient of the Annie Kizer Bost Social Work Award. She received her Ed.D. degree in Educational Leadership from Fayetteville State University in 2002. She was selected as the Teacher of the Year for the Department of Social Sciences in 2003 and was recently selected as the Teacher of the Year for the Department of Social Work in 2004. |
