| Biography Ph.D, The Catholic University of America MSW from The University of Texas Bachelor of Social Work degree from The University of Maryland Dr. Larry Applewhite served 24 years in the Army as a Social Work Officer with a wide-range of clinical, administrative, and teaching experience. His most recent military experience was providing direct clinical services to Soldiers while deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom from October 2006 – January 2008. Additionally, Dr. Applewhite has served as an adjunct lecturer at the Worden School of Social Work, Our Lady of the Lake University. He has written several articles and co-authored book chapters on issues related to social work practice in the military. |
