Master of Social Work Program Foundation Endowed Scholarship

BroncoWe are pleased to inform you that the Master of Social Work (MSW) Program at Fayetteville State University has established a Foundation Endowed Scholarship for MSW students. You can make a difference in the quality of students recruited for the MSW Program. Graduate school is very demanding and the cost of tuition is steadily rising. Our MSW students, who have outstanding academic credentials, find it difficult to work and pursue a MSW degree. In response to these needs a scholarship fund was developed.
The scholarship will provide supplemental awards to eligible graduate social work students to help defray the costs of tuition. Please consider giving a personal gift to the endowment. Your investment in the endowment will support future generations of social work leaders. This scholarship will provide the MSW Program an opportunity to recognize students with outstanding academic abilities and help relieve some of their financial burdens. Your interest in our Master of Social Work Program is sincerely appreciated.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 to support the endowment.  Once this goal is achieved, the University will annually provide supplemental awards to students who meet the following criteria:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Accepted and enrolled in the MSW Program as a full time student at Fayetteville State University
  • Have a 3.2 GPA or higher and provide a college transcript (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Demonstrate Financial Need
  • Volunteer and/or Work Experience
  • Extracurricular Activities
  • Career Goals

Financial gifts of all sizes are needed and greatly appreciated.  Please make your check out to Fayetteville State University and designate your tax deductible contribution to the Master of Social Work Program Foundation Endowed Scholarship.  Please mail your contribution to:
