Click to view larger imageThe annual Frank Porter Graham Lecture, which takes place in Chapel Hill and relates in some way each year to the subject of poverty, announces its 2005 lecture. The speakers will be Len Morris and Robin Romano, co-directors of the documentary film on child labor around the world entitled Stolen Childhoods. Narrated by Meryl Streep, the film has received outstanding reviews. On Wednesday, September 21, the lecture will be Webcast to FSU at 7:30 in the Shaw Auditorium, free of charge; the campus community is invited. The movie Stolen Childhoods will be screened in Shaw Auditorium on Tuesday evening, September 20, at 7:00 PM, also free of charge. All are encouraged to attend. Contact the TLC if you wish to make other arrangements to view the documentary.
