TurnItIn

TurnItIn is a  plagiarism prevention system that allows you to identify students who don't hand in original work.  FSU has acquired a site license for faculty to use as an added tool.  Login information and a quick start guide are located in the Virtual TLC Blackboard course.  Log into Blackboard and click on Virtual TLC under "My Courses" for further information.

Respondus 3.5

Respondus 3.5 is a powerful tool for creating and managing exams that can be printed to paper or published directly to Blackboard. Exams are created offline in a familiar Windows environment and the software provides many time-saving tools, such as the ability to import existing exams from word processor files. Download and licensing information can be found in the Virtual TLC Blackboard course.

Mathematica

Mathematica is a program integrating computation, graphics, programming language, documentation, and connectivity to other systems.  This extremely powerful and flexible program enables you to handle highly complex symbolic data, solve equations, and quickly model extensive projections.

Criterion

The CriterionSM Online Writing Evaluation is a Web-based application that provides faculty, writing instructors and administrators at community colleges and four-year institutions with reliable evaluations of their students' writing abilities. Students draft and submit essays and receive immediate feedback in the form of a holistic score and diagnostic annotations within each essay that guide instruction.

Smarthinking

Smarthinking is an online resource with tutoring in writing, math, biology, chemistry, physics, economics, accounting, statistics, and Spanish.
