UNC Board of Governors Elects Peter Hans President of the UNC System

Good afternoon Broncos,
We are excited about the appointment of Mr. Peter Hans as President of the University of North Carolina System, effective August 1, 2020. He has an amazing track record as President of the NC Community College System and we look forward to his continued work in leading the UNC System. This is an exciting time for us and I am confident that he will build on our strengths and contribute to the fine UNC System legacy as one of the best in the nation.
We also thank Dr. William Roper for his excellent leadership of the UNC System for the past 18 months as Interim President.
