FRESHMAN QUESTIONNAIRE

First stepsIf you have registered for First Steps, FSU's early orientation program, please take a few minutes to answer the following questions. (If you have not registered for First Steps, click here to register.) An academic advisor will review this questionnaire with you during First Steps and use the information to place you in the classes that match your needs and interests. Your advisor will make every effort to respect your preferences. However, course availability, intended major, and placement may require some changes from the courses you select below.

Before completing the Questionnaire, you may wish to consult the Curriculum page of this website for more information about graduation requirements, especially the University College Core Curriculum, which all students must complete.

Completing this questionnaire online before your First Steps orientation will expedite your advisement. To the extent possible and practical, University College personnel will advise students who have completed the Freshman Questionnaire online first; others must complete the questionnaire while waiting to be advised.
