The Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies can help students who
NEW!! Beginning Fall 2012, FSU will offer the Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies (B.S.P.S.). The Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies is an interdisciplinary degree program that enables students to develop twenty-first century skills, such as critical thinking, communication, knowledge of global cultures, and related skills and knowledge that will prepare them for leadership roles and professional success in the global economy. At the same time, the program provides students the opportunity to develop an individualized program of specialized knowledge and skills consistent with their personal interests, professional goals, and previous experience.
Graduates with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies will
To earn a degree in Professional Studies, students must construct a program in consultation with the Coordinator of Professional Studies. That program must include at least 123 credit hours, including
At least 45 credits in the program must be at the 300 or 400 level at FSU. Students must earn a C or better in all classes that serve major requirements including electives.
