Upward Bound's Goal

The goal of this program is to provide participants with academic support services and activities that will enhance their academic skills, thereby ensuring that they will complete high school and enroll in and complete a program of post-secondary education. 

The Upward Bound Program consists of three components: a Nine-Month Academic Year Program, a Six-Week Summer Residential Program at FSU, and a Summer Bridge Program at FSU for recent high school graduates who participated in Upward Bound.  Eligible Summer Bridge participants reside in the dorms on FSU's campus, and enroll in six credit hours of college level classes.  All services are FREE for Upward Bound's participants.
