University Testing Services

The DANTES Program offers students the opportunity to earn degree credits for work and life experiences. DANTES is a credit-by-examination program with standardized tests in more than50 subject areas (see brochure for tests offered).

It is recommended that you obtain permission to take the test(s) from the department of the school/college in which you are enrolled before registering to take any of these exams for credit.

PRE-REGISTRATION is required because only a limited number of persons may be tested at one time. If you plan to participate in the DANTES program, complete the form below and send it to UNIVERSITY TESTING SERVICES, 134 Collins Administration Building, Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, NC 28301-4298.

Time: 1 hour 30 minutes (approx)

Cost: $75.00 per test/certified check or money order payable to DANTES, Plus $30.00 service fee payable to FSU.

(DANTES also accepts payments by MasterCard or VISA)

NOTE: Tests are administered by appointment only. Examinees must register 2 -3 weeks in advance. Fayetteville State University requires all examinees to furnish positive identification.
