Profile Exams Assessment Guide
The staff and faculty at FSU want you to succeed in your educational experience with us. That is why we have selected the College Board's Accuplacer program to help you achieve your educational goals. Accuplacer is an assessment tool that identifies your academic strengths and needs so that you can plan your course work at FSU.
The scores from your Accuplacer assessments (Profile Exams), also called Computerized Placement Tests or CPTs, and the Companion to CPTs provide us with information about your level of skill in reading, writing and mathematics.
Fayetteville State University requires these assessments to help match your skill level to course expectations. Your advisor can then use this information to help you make appropriate course selections.
