What influenced you to become involved in the arts?
Several of my science professors noticed artistic skills in my lab drawings. In the fall of 2004, one of them called the art department. The area coordinator agreed and I enrolled in the art program.

What is your favorite medium, and what inspires you?
Painting... My inspiration comes from my professors and from nature.

What are your current projects?
They are coming to completion: a 3/12 by 4 foot painting, two clay busts, a clay relief, mixed media sculpture and photographs.

Why did you choose to come to FSU?
Because it was close to home.

What would you tell a prospective student about coming to FSU?
That the experiences and education FSU provides are really what you as a student make it out to be. There are some excellent professors who will help you to better yourself, as well as prepare you for the next step in your academic career.
