All classes for Saturday, January 26, 2013 will be canceled. University officials will continue monitoring the weather and will make a decision regarding other university activities, including the basketball game versus Winston-Salem State. Please check your email and the university website for updates.

University Closing
Fayetteville State University will be closing at 1 p.m. today. The university closing is a result of extremely bad weather. Law Enforcement is advising no one to travel except in an emergency. In the interest of safety, the Chancellor has closed the university. Classes are canceled, and university offices are closed. Essential employees must report for work or continue to work. Staff employees whose presence is not required will not be docked for regularly scheduled work hours missed due to an official closing nor will they be required to make up the work time or report such time as annual or other accrued leave.
