Fayetteville State University will return to its normal operating schedule at 12 a.m., January 24.
All classes and operations will go back to normal starting Monday morning.

- All scheduled in-person classes for Friday and Saturday will move to a virtual format. Online classes will continue as scheduled.

Employees
- The university will be operating on Condition 2 (Suspended Operations). Under Condition 2, the university remains open on a very limited basis but has formally suspended all but mandatory operations due to minimal staffing levels. Employees designated or temporarily assigned as mandatory must report to work as directed; all other employees may not report to work or must leave the workplace when this status takes effect. Employees must use available leave for any work time missed (vacation, bonus, special leave and / or compensatory time) during a Condition 2 event unless the supervisor authorized remote work arrangements. Changes to Other University Operations:
- Onsite COVID Vaccine and Testing has been suspended.
