Innovation in Aerospace and Manufacturing

Launch rockets and code robots! Experience innovations in Material Science and Advanced Manufacturing as it applies to the exciting field of aerospace. This family event is free on the campus of Fayetteville State University. Other activities include:

Learn about 3D printing and see it making rocket parts
Explore polymers hands-on
Thrust test rocket engines, including the Bronco Nitro
Experiment with new heat shield designs
Design a personalized badge and have a robot help you make it
Drive robots on a simulated lunar surface
Experience a free full-dome movie in the Planetarium
Learn about remote sensing on Earth and in space
Fly small drones
Explore thruster design
