Dr. Tyrone Jones

Lecturer

Dr. Tyrone Jones is a Lecturer in the Department of Health, Physical and Secondary Education and has worked at Fayetteville State since 2014.

Dr. Tyrone Jones received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education from Chowan University. He received his Masters of Science in Physical Education from Eastern New Mexico University, and his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Fayetteville State University.   

Dr. Jones has 24 years of collegiate coaching experience at Division II and III institutions. As someone constantly looking for professional development opportunities, Dr. Jones participated in the NFL/NCAA Coaches Academy. He has alsocoached in the FCS Senior Scout Bowl (North Team) and the DIII Senior Classic. Dr. Jones is also a member of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and the North Carolina High School Coaches Association (NCHSCA).
