Dr. Julia Kane
Dr. Kane received her BSN in 1998 from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. She then spent 5 years serving in the US Army Nurse Corps. She received her MSN in Women's Health NP from Vanderbilt University and her PhD from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has been teaching in nursing for over 10 years. Her areas of focus are maternal-child health and improving interprofessional communication in healthcare. She is currently teaching Community Health Nursing, Capstone Clinical, and Obstetrics and Women's Health in the pre-licensure BSN program.
Areas of interests include: Patient Safety, Communication, and OB/Women's Health.
