Dr. Stephanie Hodges

Assistant to the Interim Associate Dean, Associate Professor

Dr. Hodges began her nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse and has over 23 years of experience in many areas to include medical surgical nursing, pediatrics, geriatrics and nursing administration. She has 13 years of nursing education experience at the associate, baccalaureate, and master's degree levels, teaching in both the classroom, clinical, laboratory and online environment.

Her research interests include integration of technology in nursing education and global health nursing. Dr. Hodges developed the School of Nursing's study abroad program offering experiences to students for Pediatric Clinical in the Dominican Republic (2017, 2019), and Nursing and Healthcare in London (2020). Dr. Hodges is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and maintains her credentials by providing sick and well care to all age groups in retail health clinic setting. As a healthcare provider, she has a special interest in diabetes, obesity and pediatrics.
