The University has transitioned to online and remote learning since the spring 2020 semester, academic support services with the University College Learning Center and academic advising will also be accessible online. Supplemental Instruction, Math Center, and Writing Center tutors will continue one-on-one and group tutoring sessions using the Upswing platform. Academic advisors will also be available and hold office hours on the Upswing platform.

Online tutoring sessions will be conducted using video/audio/chat features, as well as virtual whiteboards and file uploading. Students will also be able to use Upswing to upload a writing assignment for review by Writing Center and Upswing tutors. This essay review service will return assignments within 48 hours. Upswing's Writing Lab is also available. The lab includes self-paced videos on the writing process, citation tools, and other writing resources. 

Also, contact your University College advisor through Upswing for advising questions and information. In addition to Upswing, SI leaders will also conduct tutoring via Canvas Conferences and Chat in some courses. (Ask your professor for more details. To access Upswing, go to the FSU Engage Portal and find the Upswing icon. Login using your FSU credentials.
