Where will I stay?
FSU-LEAP students will stay in Hackley Hall during the LEAP Program and during the 2019-2020 academic year in a living-learning community.
Hackley Honors Hall was established in 1998 and named in honor of one of Fayetteville State University's former Chancellors, Dr. Lloyd 'Vic' Hackley. It's located in the middle of campus, a suite style co-ed residence hall that is home to the International Education and Global Scholars communities.

Hackley Hall can accommodate up to 84 students per year, with suites consisting of four double occupancy rooms that share a common bathroom and living room. Students enjoy a balcony that oversees a large courtyard with seating that overlooks the small gazebo located in the middle of our campus.
This residence hall has:
- Two floors and two wings connected by an outside breezeway, where students will find a common lobby.
- Laundry room located on the second floor.
- Administrative offices.
What We Offer:
All rooms in the residence halls are equipped with Wi-Fi access.
A professionally trained custodial staff cleans each hall's public areas. Restrooms are cleaned daily, and hallways, lounges, and lobbies are cleaned on a routine schedule.
All residence halls are fully air-conditioned and heated.
Building Safety and Security
All residence halls use digital recording systems with scanning cameras to record activity in public areas. All residence halls contain hard-wired heat/smoke detectors and alarm horns.
Free Laundry Facilities
Washers and dryers are located in laundry rooms found either in a central location or on individual floors of the hall, depending on the building. The machines are easily accessed by using your student Bronco Card.
What should I bring?

- athletic clothes and shoes if you wish to use the gym
- bathing suit if you wish to use the pool
- twin size (XL) bed linens and pillows
- alarm clock
- iron and ironing board
- personal toiletries
- umbrella or rain gear

- cleaning supplies
- cable cord
- ethernet cord (converter is needed for older tvs)

**students will be allowed to utilize the game room and workout facility (appropriate attire required)

Students will move in on Sunday, June 30th at various times according to last name. A mandatory meeting for families and students will be at 2:30pm, after check-in, at Seabrook Auditorium.

Mail can be picked up from the FSU post office 8am-4pm Monday-Friday. Please be sure to write "FSU-LEAP Scholars Program" on any mail sent to the student, as well as the university address: 1200 Murchison Road, Fayetteville, NC 28301.
