Annette & Alsie Cluff Scholarship

Annette and Alsie CluffAnnette Cluff '70 and her husband Alsie have been longtime supporters of Fayetteville State University and supporting deserving students in need.  In their home city of Houston, TX they founded the Varnett School, a charter school with over 1500 students spread across 3 campuses. Over 90% qualify as economically disadvantaged. 

When introduced to then new Chancellor James A. Anderson, Mrs. Cluff said, "Right then I knew it was time for me to give a gift back to the university that had given me so much...Much of my success came from the people at FSU"

The Annette and Alsie Cluff Endowed Scholarship is awarded to select students who are classified for the Chancellor's Global Scholars Community at Fayetteville State University.
