How long is the program?

Do all non-nursing courses have to be completed before the nursing program can be started?

A student can begin the RN-BSN program as long as the student has no more than 4 non-nursing courses to complete.

Do non-nursing courses have to be taken at FSU?

No, non-nursing courses can be taken at another college or university as long as the institution is regionally accredited. If you have taken or plan on taking courses at another institution you will need to send the course description and a completed Approval to Pursue form to Jacinta Williams at or fax it to her at (910) 672-1077.

What is the process to have transcripts evaluated?

What are the non-nursing courses needed for the RN-BSN program?

What is the deadline for application to the RN-BSN program?

July 1 for Fall admission and December 1 for Spring admission.
