Organizations & Initiatives

The Residence Hall Association  (RHA) is the student-led organization that seeks to train FUTURE LEADERS &  represent, assist, and ADVOCATE for students living on campus. RHA is made up of an Executive Board & Community Council in every hall which consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Public Relations Officer, Parliamentarian, & National Communications Chair.

The National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) is the premiere honorary supported by the leading international organization advocating for the interests and welfare of residence hall students, while also providing opportunities for their personal growth and development. NRHH strives to provide recognition for individuals who have contributed to the advancement of college and university housing.

L.E.A.D. is a mentoring program that was created in order to enhance young ladies mindset within our residential communities. L.E.A.D. stands for Learning, Excelling, Accepting, and Dreaming which allows each young lady to gain self-worth, enhance leadership qualities, establish and execute goals and desires while connecting with peers, community leaders, and campus staff.

"You, Me, We" is the formal name for the Diversity and Inclusion Initiative in the Department of Residence Life.  The purpose and vision are to broaden and expand the intellectual and cultural mindset by providing informative diversity training sessions for faculty, staff, and students; celebrating monthly themes based on diversity and heritage; and providing campus and community engagement opportunities.

The Gamma Alpha Chapter of Rho Alpha Sigma seeks to recognize the outstanding efforts of the top 10% of Resident Assistants, to encourage excellence in the performance of the RA position, to promote the student affairs profession among the most skilled RAs, and to serve as an outlet for service to the institutional community.
