Inclement Weather

As the University continues to track the weather conditions, Condition 1 (Reduced operations) will be extended until 12:00 midnight. The Fayetteville area is expected to experience weather that will include scattered thunderstorms, high winds, possible hail, throughout the day. The University will resume normal operations at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17th. During this time, all student activities have been cancelled, all classes will remain online, and the Charles Chesnutt library will remain open.  Additionally, the Early Childhood Learning Center is closed today, March 16.

Dr. Reeshemah Johnson

Lecturer

Dr. Reeshemah Johnson, is a Lecturer in the Department of Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle Grades, Reading and Special Subjects.  She holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting and an MBA, both from Fayetteville State University, and an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction.

Dr. Johnson's professional experience includes, serving as a recruiter/advisor for the Elementary Education department, Community College Coordinator, Interim Director for the Transfer and Advisement Center and the Office of Extended Learning and Summer School, and Teacher in the Cumberland County School System.  She has been an adjunct instructor at FSU since 2001 and a full-time lecturer since 2008.
