Clubs and Organizations

The department promotes student engagement through meetings, events, mentoring activities, and student organizations. The current student clubs are:

STRIDE: Strength, Teamwork, Resilience, Inspiration, Dedication, and Education.

STRIDE is a dynamic and inclusive student organization that brings together passionate individuals from Health and Physical Education as well as Sport and Fitness Management majors. United by a shared commitment to personal growth and professional excellence, STRIDE empowers members to develop leadership skills, foster meaningful connections, and promote wellness through collaborative initiatives.

Rooted in its core values—Strength, Teamwork, Resilience, Inspiration, Dedication, and Education the club serves as a platform for students to engage in service projects, professional development, and campus-wide events that celebrate health, fitness, and community. Whether you're preparing for a career in education, coaching, sport administration, or wellness programming, STRIDE offers the support and opportunities to help you move forward with purpose.
