Dr. Konova Leak

Dr. Konova Leak is a native of Winston-Salem, NC. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from North Carolina A&T State University; a Master's in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University; a Master's in Liberal Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro; an Education Specialist degree with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University; and a Doctorate in Education from Liberty University. 

Her dissertation was entitled "A Phenomenological Study of the Factors that Motivate Black Students to Take Advanced Placement Courses."  Due to her interest in the topic, she plans to focus future publications and presentations on how to increase the number of minority students in rigorous courses.

Dr. Leak is a veteran teacher with 20 twenty years of experience primarily at the secondary level. Her time in the classroom has sparked her passion for helping education majors and novice teachers.
