The TRIO Student Support Services Veterans (SSSV) program at Fayetteville State University is a federally funded initiative through the U.S. Department of Education that provides personalized academic, personal, and career support to military veterans.

Our mission is to increase retention and graduation rates among veteran students and to facilitate a seamless transition from military service or associate degree programs to bachelor’s degree completion.

The Fayetteville State University TRIO Student Support Service Veterans Program is funded from 2025-2030 entirely from the U.S. Department of Education in the amount of $272,364 annually.
